TECH GENERATION
Technology Entering & Controlling Humans
Tech Generation is a world where technology has taken over! Technology has advanced beyond that of the human intellect. In this world, technology has begun to control everyone as they only rely on phones, computers, and other resources to communicate with other people. Relationships with human to human interaction has definitely been hindered. Robots have been made to perform everyday activities, while parents are doing less of the work with their children. In addition, smart houses are doing everything including making food, making money, even making children that are specifically designed.

Thank you for listening to our presentation. We went over four different genres that all tie into technology taking over our nation and world. Our purpose was to warn the audience that technology increasing in even just the daily life of a human can affect the future generations in a negative way. We hope as stewards of the earth, that you join in stopping this problem of technology taking over.
Team Contract
1.What will be the roles and/or responsibilities of each member of the team as they relate to the project?
Split the work fairly, finish each assignment on time as a group, and lastly, no one gets left behind. This means we are all committed to working effectively as a team by following through on commitments and helping one another to learn.
2. How often will you meet outside of school?
We will meet outside of school once or twice a week, depending on assignments. We will usually meet after school or on weekends.
3. How will you communicate outside of school?
We will communicate by group text, meeting at a local coffee shop, or skype.
4. How much time passes before a reply to a question or comment is considered unacceptably late?
Twenty-Four Hours
5. What script or sentence stem can you develop that you can use to tell someone they are not carrying their own weight or participating the way they should?
We can say that all of our grades are in line if someone does not pull their own weight on the project and that we are not responsible for the work they are supposed to finish.
6. What strategies can you develop in order to increase participation from members before coming to the teacher for intervention?
Some strategies would be meeting at coffee shops, as an incentive for all group members to come and participate. Another strategy would be to talk to group members and work with each-other’s schedules as best as possible. We will work together to schedule meeting times that works with not just some members, but ALL group members.
7. What are your deadlines?
Everything that is due in class the next day, should be completed the night before 12 am. This will allow extra time, just in case something needs to be fixed in the morning before school.
8. What are the roles/ responsibilities of each member as it relates to running the group? In other words is there a group leader, recorder, timer, etc…?
The group leader is Jill van Mierlo. She will oversee and manage everything to make sure it gets done. Faith Riccardi is the manager as she will know all the assignments and make sure every member is aware of the homework and assignments. Ryan Pugh will be the the Head of Resources, which means he is in charge of making sure everyone has their computers and all members have what they need to complete the assignments to the best of their ability. Brianna Porrello will be the even coordinator, which means she will arrange where the group meets and what time. She will also make sure each member will be available to meet.
9. What are the norms of your meetings?
The norms of our meetings will be bringing laptops to meetings, finishing the assigned homework on time, all members participating in an effective manner, and talking about how to make our Dystopian World the most concise, clear, and exceptional project.
10. Team Collaboration Contract
This mission of our team, the Tech World, is to collaborate in order to develop the highest quality project we can present. We will use our individual talents to help each other, and we will abide by the rules of our contract in order to accomplish our goals.
